In these times of great need, it is critical that we all step up to address the issues that are directly affecting our communities. For this reason, Dr. M. Jeanne Cotton launched the U-Be The Change campaign to provide a tool for volunteers to become efficient and effective in the community. You can get involved with change in the community whether it be spending time each day to talk to a child or read with them, mentor a child, or to talk to a neighbor or friend about improving the conditions of youth, families, schools, and community.
Governmental agencies can only do so much, and non-profits have been hit with a double-whammy of increased demand for services and decreases in charitable giving. It is up to all of us to work together to tackle the needs of our community.
Trinity Universal Center’s U-Be The Change campaign promotes the concept that the fulfillment of every change you desire for your community begins and ends with you.
